Day 12
Day 12: Shield of Faith - Confidence in the Unseen
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
The Shield of Faith provides confidence in the unseen. The significance of faith in our spiritual journey can't be under estimated, it acts as a shield against the enemy's attacks. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as confidence in the unseen. Faith builds confidence in God's promises, enabling us to face the spiritual battle with assurance and boldness. it extinguishes the lies of the enemy rooted in lies and twisted truth! Roman soldiers soaked their shields in water to extinguish fiery arrows. Likewise, our faith, when nurtured through worship, reading, and preaching, acts as a shield against the enemy's attacks. Faith practically becomes our defense against the enemies schemes.
Closing Prayer:
Heavenly Father, as we lift the Shield of Faith, build in us a confidence rooted in your promises. May our faith extinguish every fiery arrow of doubt and fear. Strengthen us through your Word and worship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
