Walking Out the Call with Boldness

Front Lines - Walking Out the Call with Boldness

Judges 7:9-15 NIV
9 During that night the Lord said to Gideon, “Get up, go down against the camp, because I am going to give it into your hands. 10 If you are afraid to attack, go down to the camp with your servant Purah 11 and listen to what they are saying. Afterward, you will be encouraged to attack the camp…
13 Gideon arrived just as a man was telling a friend his dream. “I had a dream,” he was saying. “A round loaf of barley bread came tumbling into the Midianite camp. It struck the tent with such force that the tent overturned and collapsed.”
14 His friend responded, “This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God has given the Midianites and the whole camp into his hands.”
15 When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.”

Understanding that even the enemy recognizes our victory is a game-changer. We must walk out our call with boldness, knowing that Satan's attempts to discourage us are evidence of our imminent victory.

Satan recognizes your victory, that's why he tries to discourage you. Gideon's journey from hiding to hero is a testament to the transformative power of boldness in our calling. As a church, we too must walk out our call with unwavering boldness.

The enemy attacks most vehemently those who pose the greatest threat to his plans. Gideon's boldness on the battlefield, guided by God's assurance, is a blueprint for us. It's time for us to walk with boldness, knowing that victory is assured. We will not draw back in the face of adversity, or under the pressures of life, instead we will lean into the words of Hebrews 10:39. "But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved."

Closing Prayer:
Lord, empower us to walk out our call with boldness. As we face battles, let us remember that the enemy recognizes our victory. Grant us the faith to stand firm and the courage to advance on the front lines, knowing that we belong to those who have faith and are saved. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
