The Power of Faith and Vision
Genesis 18:11-15 NKJV
"Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."
Have you ever laughed at what seemed like an impossible promise from God? Sarah did. When God promised Abraham that he and Sarah would have a son in their old age, Sarah laughed. It seemed absurd to her, a promise that defied natural laws and human logic. But God responded with a question that resonates through the ages: "Is anything too hard for the Lord?"
In my own life, I've had moments where God's plans seemed laughable. If you had told me five years ago that I would have a three-year-old child now, I would have laughed! Yet here I am, a testimony to the fact that God's promises come to pass in His timing and His way. God has shown me that nothing is too hard for Him, whether it's fulfilling a personal promise or calling me to minister in ways I never imagined.
God wants to give us a vision so big that it requires absolute faith to receive it. What has God spoken to you that you have laughed at or dismissed as impossible? God is in the business of doing the impossible. He wants to blow your mind and leave you standing in awe of His power and grace. Trust in Him, and cultivate a faith that sees beyond the natural into the realm of divine possibilities.
Prayer:
Lord, we thank You for Your promises and the vision You have for our lives. Strengthen our faith to believe in Your word, even when it seems impossible. Help us to trust in Your timing and Your power, knowing that nothing is too hard for You. Amen.
