The Measure of Faith Given to Us

Romans 12:3 NKJV
"For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith."

God has given each of us a measure of faith. This faith is not something we muster on our own; it is a gift from God. He has equipped us with the faith needed to fulfill the plans He has for our lives. Often, we underestimate the faith within us, thinking it's too small to make a difference. But Jesus said that even faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains.

Reflecting on my own journey, I realize how God has stretched my faith in ways I never thought possible. From preaching coast to coast to organizing large youth conferences, each step required me to lean on the measure of faith God had given me. There were times when doubt crept in, but God's faithfulness proved that He had already equipped me with the faith needed to carry out His work.

For practical application, start by acknowledging the faith God has given you. Nurture it through prayer, reading the Word, and stepping out in small acts of obedience. As you exercise your faith, it will grow stronger, and you'll be able to trust God for even greater things. Remember, it's not about the size of your faith but about the greatness of the God you place your faith in.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the measure of faith You have given each of us. Help us to recognize and nurture this faith, trusting in Your power and promises. Guide us to use our faith to fulfill the plans You have for our lives, knowing that with You, all things are possible. Amen.
