All Things are Possible with God

Matthew 19:26 (NKJV)
"But Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'"

When the disciples were astonished at Jesus’ teaching on the difficulty of entering the Kingdom of Heaven, they wondered aloud, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus’ answer was simple yet profound: “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” This verse points us to the central truth that nothing is beyond God’s ability. Whether we’re facing personal struggles, relational issues, financial challenges, or health concerns, God’s power is greater than all these things combined. He is the God of the impossible.

The story of the Israelites in the wilderness is a powerful example of God’s ability to turn the impossible into the possible. Even when the people doubted His promise, God still made a way for them to receive the land He had promised them. But the question remains: will we believe God can do what seems impossible? In Numbers 13, the spies doubted God’s ability to overcome the giants in the land, but Caleb and Joshua saw things through the eyes of faith, knowing that God had already given them victory.

In our own lives, the key to walking in the promises of God is recognizing that nothing is too hard for Him. It’s easy to get caught up in the limitations of our own understanding, to see only what’s in front of us and to judge our circumstances by what we know. But God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). What may seem impossible to us is a perfect opportunity for God to display His power and faithfulness. The Israelites were stuck in the wilderness because of their unbelief, but God never gave up on His promise. We must take that same step of faith—believing that with God, there are no limits.

Prayer:
Lord, we acknowledge that there is nothing too hard for You. Forgive us for the times we’ve doubted Your ability to work in our lives. Help us to see beyond our limitations and trust in Your power to make the impossible possible. Strengthen our faith, and help us walk boldly in Your promises, knowing that You are with us every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
