Season of Deliverance
Exodus 14:13
"And Moses said to the people, 'Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for you today.'"
A season of deliverance is often one of the most transformative times in our walk with God. It’s a time when we are rescued from the things that bind us — whether it’s sin, fear, addiction, or any number of struggles that hold us back. Just as God delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, He desires to deliver us from the things that weigh us down and keep us from walking fully in His purpose for our lives.
The Israelites’ journey through the Red Sea is a powerful image of God's deliverance. They were faced with an impossible situation — trapped between the Egyptian army and the sea — and yet God made a way where there seemed to be none. He opened the waters, and the Israelites walked through on dry ground, a clear reminder that God can make a way when we feel like there is no way. When we are in seasons of difficulty, it can be easy to focus on our circumstances and feel overwhelmed, but the truth is that God is always at work behind the scenes, preparing our deliverance.
In our own lives, God is faithful to deliver us in His timing. While the Israelites had to wait and trust, God’s plan was always in motion. In those seasons of deliverance, He is shaping us, strengthening our faith, and preparing us for what lies ahead. Trust in His process, and know that the season of deliverance is not the end — it’s the beginning of a new chapter of freedom, grace, and purpose.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness in delivering me from the things that hold me back. Help me to trust You in every season, especially when I’m in need of deliverance. I believe that You will make a way where there seems to be no way, and I surrender my fears and struggles to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
