In Due Season
Galatians 6:9
"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
Waiting for the right time can be one of the most difficult parts of our walk with God. It’s easy to get discouraged when we don’t see immediate results or answers to our prayers. But the promise in Galatians 6:9 is clear: "In due season, we will reap." God’s timing is perfect, and although we may not always understand it, we can trust that He knows when the time is right. Whether it’s for a breakthrough, a change in circumstances, or the fulfillment of a promise, God has a set time for everything.
The key to navigating this waiting period is perseverance. It’s not about rushing the process or trying to force things to happen; it’s about remaining faithful and steadfast, knowing that God is at work behind the scenes. The seasons of waiting are not wasted time. God is preparing us, refining us, and strengthening our faith. As we endure, we become more aligned with His will, and our character is shaped more into His likeness.
The beauty of God’s timing is that it’s always aligned with His purpose. Just as the farmer waits for the harvest, we must wait for the fruit that God is cultivating in our lives. Our job is to stay faithful, continue doing good, and trust that in due season, the harvest will come. This is a season of growth and trust, where we rely on God’s promise that the time to reap will come, just as surely as the seasons change.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the assurance that in due season, You will bring forth a harvest. Help me to trust Your timing and remain faithful in the waiting. Give me the strength to persevere, knowing that You are working in me and through me. May I continue to do good, confident that the rewards are coming in Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
