Happy Easter

Matthew 28:5-6 (NIV)
“But the angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.’”

Easter Sunday is the culmination of everything we believe as Christians—the moment when Jesus, our Savior, triumphed over death and gave us the ultimate victory. His resurrection is not just an event to be remembered—it’s a living, breathing invitation for each of us to step into new life. Jesus conquered death so that we could live, and His resurrection is the foundation of everything we hope for.

The message of the resurrection isn’t just for us to hold on to—it’s a message to be shared. When the angel told the women at the tomb, “Come and see the place where He lay,” he wasn’t just inviting them to witness an empty grave. He was inviting them to experience the power of the resurrection firsthand. That invitation was meant to be shared—to be told to others, so that they too could experience the life-changing power of Jesus.

Who are you bringing to Jesus this Easter? This is the day we celebrate the reality that Jesus is alive, and He is offering new life to all who will believe. The resurrection isn’t just something to be celebrated; it’s something to be shared. There are people all around us who are searching for hope, for purpose, for a way out of their struggles. We have the answer—the answer is Jesus, the resurrection and the life.

Easter is a time of new beginnings, a time when people are more open to hearing the message of hope that Jesus offers. It’s a time to invite others to experience what we’ve experienced: the power of the resurrection. Let’s not let this Easter pass by without bringing someone to the feet of Jesus. Whether it’s a family member, a neighbor, or a friend, this is the day to invite them to encounter the life-changing power of the risen Savior.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the gift of the resurrection. Thank You for the hope we have in You, the life we now live because of Your victory over death. This Easter, give me a heart that is passionate about bringing others to You. Help me to be a bringer, not just a receiver, of Your love and grace. May the power of Your resurrection be evident in my life, and may I share that power with those around me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
