Our Mission

Romans 10:14-15
“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?”

The Gospel is a message meant to move — from person to person, from neighborhood to neighborhood, from nation to nation. Paul’s challenge in Romans isn’t just for missionaries overseas; it’s for every believer who has people in their circle who haven’t yet heard or believed. The mission begins with those closest to us and moves outward.

“Jerusalem” represents home — your family, your closest friends, the people who know your life as much as they hear your words. Then comes “Judea and Samaria,” which for us means friends and neighbors. Sometimes they’re like-minded, sometimes they’re different, but either way, they’re in your sphere for a reason.

Finally, “the ends of the earth” reminds us that the call doesn’t stop with our city limits. God’s design is that our obedience here fuels impact everywhere. When you love your neighbor, serve your community, and give to global missions, you’re helping answer Paul’s question — you’re making sure someone hears.

Prayer
Lord, help me recognize the mission fields You’ve already placed in my life. Let my love and words be a bridge to You for my home, my friends, my neighbors, and even those I may never meet in person. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
