Strength in Weakness
2 Corinthians 12:9
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
We live in a culture that celebrates strength, success, and control. But the gospel tells a different story—our weakness isn’t a disqualification, it’s an invitation. When we admit where we’re broken, when we stop pretending we can fix everything ourselves, that’s when God’s power shows up in full force.
This is what makes testimonies of deliverance so powerful. Men and women who hit rock bottom, who couldn’t manage life on their own, discovered that in their lowest moment God was still present. Their weakness became the very place where His grace broke through. Addiction, failure, or struggle doesn’t make someone unusable—it becomes the canvas for God’s masterpiece.
Maybe you’ve been carrying something you think makes you too weak to be used by God. The truth is, your weakness might be the very thing He uses to display His power. It’s not about hiding our struggles, it’s about surrendering them. Because when we’re weak, He is strong.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness. Forgive us for trying to hide or carry things on our own. Teach us to surrender every weakness into Your hands and trust that You can use it for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
