When Every Piece Comes Together
Acts 2:44–47 (NIV)
All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need… and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
The early church gives us a picture of what happens when the body of Christ assembles with intentionality. Needs were met. Families were restored. Worship overflowed. And the Lord added daily those who were being saved. That’s not just history — that’s the DNA of the church at work.
Notice how it happened: everyone brought their piece. Some gave time, some gave talent, some gave treasure. Together, the picture of Jesus became clear to the world around them. That’s the kind of church God is still building today.
When every piece is in place, the puzzle isn’t incomplete or scattered — it’s whole, beautiful, and powerful. And when people see the whole picture of Jesus, they can’t help but be drawn to Him.
Prayer
Lord, make me part of a church that looks like Acts 2. Use my time, my talent, and my treasure to build something that draws people to You every single day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
