Walk in White
Revelation 3:4
You have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with Me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.
In Roman culture, white garments symbolized victory, celebration, and honor. Those invited to walk in a triumphal procession wore white robes as a sign that they shared in the victor’s glory. Yet those who walked with the conqueror did not earn their place in the parade. They were there because of their relationship with the victor. The same is true for every believer who walks with Christ. We walk in His victory, clothed in His righteousness, covered by His grace.
Jesus promised that those who remained faithful in Sardis would walk with Him dressed in white. The white garments represent purity, renewal, and the identity we receive through Him. They are not a reward for perfection but a reflection of belonging. What makes us worthy is not our own deeds but His finished work on the cross.
The invitation to walk in white is a reminder that your faithfulness is not forgotten. Every act of obedience, every moment of perseverance, and every prayer prayed in weakness is seen by God. One day you will walk beside Him, not as a stranger or a servant, but as someone covered in His glory.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for covering me in Your righteousness. Help me to stay faithful even when it is difficult. Remind me that every step I take with You leads toward victory. Amen.
