Little Strength, Big Faith
Revelation 3:8
I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
Jesus commends the church in Philadelphia not for their size, their influence, or their resources, but for their faithfulness. They had little strength, yet they held on. Their power wasn’t in numbers or reputation; it was in their unwavering trust in God. Sometimes, we think we need more talent, more energy, or more opportunity to make an impact, but God delights in working through what looks small to the world.
Faithfulness is never about how much strength we have but about how much surrender we offer. God’s power is revealed when we remain steadfast, even when we feel weak. The believers in Philadelphia didn’t give up when opposition came. They kept His word, held to His name, and stayed faithful in the pressure. That kind of endurance moves the heart of God.
When we reach the end of our strength, we reach the beginning of His. Our little strength, when placed in the hands of a big God, becomes more than enough.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being strong when I am weak. Help me to stay faithful in every season and to keep Your word even when my strength feels small. Let my faith in You be greater than my fear. Amen.
