Use What Is In Your Hands
1 Peter 4:10
“As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
God never asks you for what you do not have. He always starts with what is already in your hands. When Moses stood before the burning bush, God did not ask him for eloquence, status, or skill. He asked him one question: “What is that in your hand?” It was a shepherd’s staff. Ordinary. Unimpressive. But when surrendered to God, it became an instrument of deliverance. The same is true for the boy with five loaves and two fish. What he had was not enough to feed thousands until he placed it in the hands of Jesus.
You may feel like what you have to offer is not much. Maybe you feel too inexperienced, too busy, too flawed, or too uncertain. Scripture shows us over and over that God specializes in using what is overlooked. He uses the quiet gift, the small talent, the willing heart, and the ordinary yes. He multiplies what is placed into His hands.
Serving in the kingdom is not about being the most gifted or the most impressive. It is about being available. Every person at Restoration Church carries a piece of what God wants to do in this city. When you greet someone, set up a chair, pray, run sound, or hold a baby in the nursery, God takes what you have and uses it to shape eternity. The miracle is never in the size of your gift. It is in the surrender of it.
Today, do not bury what God has given you. Do not underestimate it. Offer it. Use it. Put it in God’s hands. He will do the multiplying.
Prayer:
Jesus, everything in my hands belongs to You. Use my gifts, my time, my energy, and my life to serve others. Let me be faithful with what You have entrusted to me. Multiply my yes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
