Bend Us Towards Generosity

Psalm 126:3
“The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.”

When you look back over this entire series and this entire week, there has been a clear thread running through everything God has been speaking. He blesses us so He can move through us. That is the heart of a restored life. That is the heart of a revived church. And it is the heart behind Heart for the House. Generosity is never just about giving an offering. It is about saying to God, “Whatever You have placed in my hands, I trust You with it.” All week we have talked about Gideon, obedience, sacrifice, and revival. Today we step into that same posture of courageous faith.

Gideon did not step into his calling with a crowd behind him. He stepped into it with a burden, a yes, and a willingness to offer God everything he had. That sacrifice did not weaken him. It positioned him. The same is true for us. When we sacrifice for the Kingdom, when obedience and generosity collide, something supernatural happens. God multiplies what we surrender. He breathes on what we lay down. He accelerates what we place in His hands.

Today is more than offering day. It is legacy day. It is vision day. It is our moment to say, “Lord, bend my heart toward Your house, and I will build what You are building.” God has given Restoration Church incredible opportunities this coming year. Our move to Sunday mornings will open space for more families, more salvations, and more discipleship. Our next season of reaching Frisco and North Texas will expand our capacity to minister to a growing city hungry for hope. Our partnership with Children’s Cup in Belize will help establish a CarePoint that will feed, disciple, and care for children and their families. Strengthening our serve teams, small groups, and outreach will allow us to continue building better lives inside and outside our walls.

These are not just projects. They are people. They are stories. They are souls. They are moments where someone will meet Jesus because we chose to sow today.

God has already placed in this house everything needed to build what He has called us to build. What we need is not outside the house. It is in the house. It is in our obedience. It is in our sacrifice. It is in our yes. It is in our generosity. Just like Gideon, we may feel small, but we are not insignificant. When we unite in faith, God uses what we bring to accomplish what only He can do.

Today, as you give, you are not just meeting a need. You are opening a door. You are building an altar. You are making a way for revival. You are funding future life change. You are saying, “Lord, bend my heart and use my hands.” This is holy ground. This is legacy ground. This is where faith becomes action and action becomes impact.

Prayer:
Lord, bend my heart toward Your house today. Let my generosity be an act of worship and obedience. Use what I give to build Your Kingdom, reach the lost, strengthen Your church, and move powerfully in our city and throughout the world. I give with joy, expectation, and faith, believing that You will multiply what I place in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
