The River Brings Life
Ezekiel 47:9 (NIV)
“Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows.”
One of the most beautiful parts of Ezekiel’s vision is what happens when the river flows outward. Life begins to appear everywhere the water reaches. Fish multiply, trees grow, and barren places become full of life.
This vision reveals something profound about the presence of God. His Spirit never brings emptiness or decay. Wherever His river flows, life begins to flourish. Healing takes place and growth becomes possible again.
The same thing happens in the life of a believer who goes all in with God. When His Spirit flows through us, it impacts the people around us. Encouragement, hope, and truth begin to spread. Our lives become channels through which God’s life reaches others.
The deeper we live in the river of God’s presence, the more His life flows outward through us into the world.
Prayer
Lord, let Your life flow through me today. Use my words, actions, and attitudes to bring encouragement and hope to the people around me. May Your river of life flow through every part of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
