Remember the Goodness of God
Psalm 103:2
“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”
David understood the importance of remembering. In moments of difficulty, he intentionally reminded himself of God’s goodness. Instead of focusing on what was going wrong, he chose to remember what God had already done.
Gratitude has a powerful effect on our hearts. When we remember the blessings of God, it shifts our perspective. It reminds us that the God who has been faithful in the past is still faithful today.
