A Real Encounter

John 4:29 (NLT)
“Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?”

Something shifted in this woman the moment she encountered Jesus. She didn’t leave that well analyzing the conversation or questioning what just happened. She left moving. There was urgency in her steps and conviction in her voice. When something real happens in you, it doesn’t stay contained. It spills over.

We talk about a lot of things in life. We share restaurants, shows, and experiences without hesitation. But for some reason, when it comes to what Jesus has done in us, we tend to get quiet. Not because it isn’t real, but because we’ve allowed fear, insecurity, or uncertainty to silence what should be the loudest thing in our life.

This woman didn’t have theology figured out. She didn’t have a polished story. She didn’t even have a reputation that worked in her favor. But she had an encounter. And that was enough. She simply invited others into what she had experienced. She didn’t say, “I’ll explain everything.” She just said, “Come and see.”

If God has done something in your life, it was never meant to stay private. Real encounters don’t stay hidden. They move through you and into the lives of others.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the way You have worked in my life. Help me not to stay silent about what You’ve done. Give me boldness to share my story and invite others to experience You for themselves. Use my life to point people to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
