When You Can't See It
1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard… the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
We are wired to trust what we can see.
If we can measure it, track it, point to it, then we feel confident. But if we can’t see progress, can’t explain what’s happening, or can’t connect the dots, we start to question everything. We assume nothing is happening… or worse, that God isn’t involved.
But the Kingdom has never operated on visible proof.
God has always been working beyond what people could perceive in the moment. The Jewish people were looking for a Kingdom they could immediately recognize, something that made sense in their current reality. But God was playing the long game. He was doing something bigger than their expectations could hold.
It’s like watching a movie from the middle instead of the beginning. You don’t have context. You don’t understand the characters. You don’t know how things connect. So you assume it doesn’t make sense. But the problem isn’t the story… it’s your perspective.
A lot of us are frustrated because we’re evaluating God’s work mid-process.
You don’t see the full picture yet. You don’t understand what He’s building yet. But that doesn’t mean He isn’t working. In fact, some of the most significant things God does happen in seasons where it feels like nothing is happening at all.
You don’t have to see it to trust it.
Prayer:
Father, help me trust You even when I don’t understand what You are doing. Strengthen my faith in the unseen. Remind me that You are always working, even when I can’t see it clearly. Give me peace in the process. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
