Worship over Worry
Psalm 22:3 (NKJV)
“But You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel.”
Worship is not just music. It is positioning. When you choose to praise God in the middle of uncertainty, you are placing Him back on the throne of your life.
Worry and worship cannot dominate the same space. One will push out the other. When you magnify your problems, worry grows. When you magnify God, His presence fills the space. Scripture tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people. That means when you worship, you are inviting His presence into your situation.
This is why worship matters so much. It shifts your attention from what is wrong to who is right. It reminds your soul that God is bigger than what you are facing. And in His presence, fear loses its grip.
You may not feel like worshiping. That’s usually when you need it the most.
Prayer:
Father, I choose to worship You today, even in the middle of uncertainty. Help me to lift my voice and focus on Your goodness instead of my problems. Fill my life with Your presence as I praise You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
