Let Go of Control
Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Letting go of control is one of the hardest things we will ever do. Everything in us wants to hold on, fix things, and make sure life goes the way we planned. But following God often feels like stepping into the passenger seat while He takes the wheel.
That tension you feel is real. It is the space between what you can see and what God is doing behind the scenes. You may not understand the path, but you can trust the One leading you.
God is not guessing with your life. He is not experimenting. He has a plan, a purpose, and a destination that is greater than anything you could map out on your own. Your job is not to control the journey. Your job is to trust Him in it.
Peace begins where control ends.
Prayer:
Father, I release control to You today. Help me to trust You even when I don’t understand what You are doing. Give me peace in the process and confidence in Your plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
